Milton Award - Term 3 Update

This term has seen our students in Years 9 and 10 attend two academic lectures, chair Student Leader meetings, represent the school in a number of sports and contribute to the REACH group. The two lectures which our students have attended have been on “The Last Emperor of China”, given by Year 12 student Theo Li and “Dyson Spheres and Type 3 Civilisations”, given by Miss Couves. We had in excess of 80 attendees at each and they really engaged with the topics. It has been brilliant to see so many students at these events. More to come next term!

Our Form Captains have been meeting with the Heads of Year and Head Student Team to put forward ideas that they feel could enhance their experience at Gravesend Grammar School. These captains and vice captains have displayed a great desire to improve the experiences that they have. They have shown strong leadership skills and have engaged their peers in a very positive manner. EJR
