We aim to provide our students with challenges and opportunities that will equip them with the qualifications and personal attributes that will enable them to be successful in later life.
Students will engage in an ambitious curriculum that is rigorous and challenging, We have high academic aspirations for all our students. Our specialist teachers have devised learning to develop the necessary subject knowledge and skills to enable students to achieve at the highest level as they progress through the school.
We aim to provide opportunities within and beyond the curriculum that allow students to develop their talents, curiosity, confidence, sense of community and belonging. All students are encouraged to participate in the wide ranging extra curricular programme. Hard work and effort within and beyond the academic curriculum are valued and recognised through our well developed Parthenon and Milton Award schemes.
We pride ourselves on the positive relationships we build with our students. Well being and pastoral support are central to our sucess. Our aim is that students feel happy, safe and supported in an environment of mutual respect where they are able to seek support and advice.
Our school motto: Consule Cunctis - take thought for everyone. On a day to day basis this means; allowing teachers to teach, students to learn, and showing respect and courtesty towards all members of our school community
The four pillars are the over arching values that we endeavour to instill in our students so that they can become the very best versions of themselves. These values are embodied in our work with students on a daily basis and are recognised in the awards programmes: The Parthenon Award and the Milton Awards.
