Please note that Kent Assessment decisions will be sent to parents email addresses after 4pm on Thursday 17th October 2024. The deadline for submissions of Secondary Application forms to the local authority is 31st October 2024.

Open mornings are an opportunity for parents and students to visit Gravesend Grammar School in order to help inform decisions about potential applications for a place.

Visitors will be taken on a guided tour of the school by members of the existing student body, where they will be able to witness teaching and learning happening as it does on every other day of the year. Open mornings are also an opportunity to sample the atmosphere, as well as view the facilities the school has to offer. At the culmination of the tour there will be an address by the Head Teacher and Head of Key Stage 3 outlining the ethos and what parents should expect if they choose to send their sons to Gravesend Grammar School in year 7.

Throughout the morning staff will be available to answer any questions about the school or specific situations relating to their sons, including the admissions process.
