Year 12 University of Kent

On Wednesday 30th April, three coaches of Year 12 students travelled to the University of Kent to visit the UK University Search Higher Education Fair. The Fair included two large exhibition halls with representatives from many UK universities, other apprenticeship providers, and employers such as Kent Police and the Royal Navy. Alongside the exhibition was a programme of talks offering insight into the Russell Group of universities and Degree Apprenticeships. Students also had the opportunity to join a Campus tour to see more of the University of Kent, a classic Campus University, to experience a taste of University life.

As Term 6 approaches we are launching the start of UCAS applications ready for submission early in Year 13 and encouraging all students to research their options whether through the university route, apprenticeships, other employment or Gap year.
