Mr Sidhu – The Walking Singh

During the 2024 Movember campaign, 100,000 in the UK signed up and helped change the face of men’s health. Movember HQ were proud to recognise those who have gone above and beyond, by inviting them to their annual legendary Mo Awards ceremony. It was an opportunity to call out the Mo Bros and Mo Sisters who have gone above and beyond this year. And so, it was with great pleasure and huge excitement that they announced the nominees for the Mo UK and Europe Awards ‘25. In the category for ‘Going the Distance’ and alongside six others, our own Mr Sidhu was nominated and in February at a ceremony he was announced winner of that category. To achieve this award, Mr Sidhu walked 508Km (Oxford University to Eiffel Tower Paris equivalent with 50 Km spare) raising more than £1000. He walked 30 walks in 30 days, averaging 17km per day after school and over the weekends. It took over 87hrs with 3863m elevation. Mr Sidhu thanks present and former students and colleagues for their support. A fantastic achievement for an amazing cause!
