This term, we’ve had two exciting Girls’ Forum sessions! In our first session, we welcomed everyone back with a presentation outlining opportunities for the girls to get involved in different areas of school, such as drama productions and music. It was also a chance to hear their thoughts on what they’d like to engage in more. We were joined by Mr. Pallant, who shared news about a new girls-only self-defence class starting after school: a fantastic initiative to help build confidence and skills.
Our second session featured a special guest, Rachel, a Collision Forensic Investigator working with the Police service. She gave us an incredible insight into her STEM-based career, including how she solves complex cases. It was fascinating to learn about a role that isn’t widely known but could inspire others to consider similar paths. We’re looking forward to more sessions like these next term!
