Economics aims to aid students to enter the real world with a positive mind set, ready to excel in an increasingly competitive environment.
Students will be equipped with a broad knowledge base of global economies and markets, and understand their impacts on society as they evolve over time.
Across each of the different levels of study, Economics enables students to improve their problem-solving skills, creativity and overall strength of character.
Economics has challenged me and made me think about the world differently. I have enjoyed learning how to make decisions and how markets work.
I feel far better suited to the working world equipped with an understanding of Economics. The role of government is essential in managing growth within the economy and this is something that I am passionate about pursuing as a career and at university next year.
