Bronze DofE - Term 4 Update

Bronze DofE - Term 4 Update

Bronze DofE (Year 9) This term, our Bronze DofE participants have been busy laying the groundwork for their upcoming adventures. A major focus has been understanding the Highway Code and the Countryside Code to ensure they remain safe and responsible during their summer expedition. Mastering the Highway Code will help them navigate roads with confidence, while the Countryside Code encourages them to respect the natural environment and local communities they encounter. Alongside this theoretical knowledge, the students are also preparing for their Training Day in April. This practical session will introduce them to vital expedition skills such as map reading, route planning and using a compass. It promises to be an exciting opportunity for them to put theory into action and gain confidence ahead of their Qualifying Expedition later in July. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by all the participants. As they progress through their DofE journey, we look forward to witnessing their continued growth in resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving. Best wishes to everyone as they prepare for the next phase! KKP
