Silver DofE - Term 4 Update

We are delighted to welcome 33 eager and determined students who have taken up the challenge of completing their Silver DofE this year. Currently, the participants are focused on planning their routes for the Practice Expedition in May. This stage requires careful thought and attention, as they map out routes that balance distance, terrain and rest points. Throughout this process, they are refining valuable skills such as map reading, collaboration and time management – all of which will be put to the test in the field. The Practice Expedition will offer an excellent opportunity for the group to develop their navigation skills, build resilience, and experience the great outdoors. This crucial step will also prepare them for their Qualifying Expedition in October 2025. Their dedication has been inspiring so far, and we are confident they will approach the upcoming challenges with determination and a strong team spirit. As they progress through the planning phase, we are excited to see their hard work pay off and will continue to support them on their journey.
