At the start of July, the Art Department were delighted to present the work of our students at our annual exhibition in St George’s Arts Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to show their work in a professional setting and an opportunity for parents, students and staff to celebrate their work. We exhibited a wide range of work by our GCSE and A Level students, along with work by our talented Year 7 students, pictured below and due to be displayed in school next term. The work included painting, digital art, drawing, ceramic and mixed media work—some really ambitious pieces were in the gallery, including final outcomes by Year 13 students from their exam and coursework, one of which took over 60 hours to complete! We can’t share the work digitally yet due to exam regulations, but we look forward to displaying some of the pieces around the school in the coming months and are very proud of the accomplishments of our students.
