Supporting our students to realise their ambitions.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 13s as they leave us to undertake the next stage of their lives. We sincerely hope that the experiences they have had at school will help them to face the challenges and flourish in whatever path they have chosen. The overwhelming majority of our students move on to university to study a diverse range of courses.

We are seeing an increasing number of students choosing to follow apprenticeship routes. A large number of these are high quality, funded, degree level positions providing students the opportunity to work and study at the same time. We congratulate all our students on their achievements and wish them every success with their future endeavours.

GGS Student Destinations 2023:

• 76% of student leavers went to University in 2023. Over the last 3 years 24-34% of undergraduate courses were to Russell Group Universities.
• 8% of students elected to take a gap year
• 7% went onto higher apprenticeships
• 4% directly entered employment
